CONSTRUCTION
Overview
We produce two types of panels, Aluminium or acrylic which are identical in every way apart from the material that the main panels and engrave plates are made from, below explains what those differences are, and the pros and cons associated with them.
Aluminium panels
The main panel and blind panel are made from 3mm aluminium, the magneto, oxygen, supercharger engrave plates and all notices are also made from aluminium, all over constructions is the same on both acrylic and aluminium versions.
All Gauges are resin casting from moulds taken off original parts apart from the chassis gauge which is milled, as standard it’s made from acrylic with aluminium roller blind parts, an upgrade is available to full aluminium on options.
The panel is finished in powder coat, which is more durable than paint, all engraving is infilled with paint.
We recommend the aluminium version is the only type used in commercial setting for its durability.
The panel comes fully assembled and pre-configured then delivered usually free of change dependant on graphical location.
Acrylic panels
The main panel is constructed from 5mm Acrylic and blind panels are made from 3mm acrylic, the magneto, oxygen, supercharger engrave plates and all notices are also made from acrylic, all over constructions is the same on both acrylic and aluminium.

The panels finish is Midnight black, which is a matt finish, all engraving is infilled with paint.
We recommend the acrylic version to home users on a budget as it has greater flex as less durability than it Aluminium version.
